Homecoming Week of Events

King and Queen Voting: Monday, October 3 @ 8:00am - Wednesday, October 12 @ 11:45pm on BoilerLink

7 men and 7 women are selected by a panel of anonymous judges to represent Purdue on Homecoming Court. Vote on Boilerlink and support your favorite candidates! It’s easy to vote. Just go to Boilerlink, sign in, and follow the prompts. Votings begins at 8:00am on Oct. 3 and ends at 11:45pm on Oct. 12. 

Wednesday, October 12 

Homecoming Kickoff and Zipline - Intramural Gold Field #5 (rain: Union South Ballroom); 3:00 - 7:00pm 

Are you ready to sore through the sky? Come join us Wednesday, October 12 from 3-7 p.m. at Intramural Gold Field 5 for Homecoming 2016 Kickoff! Enjoy an exhilarting zipline in your special "superhero" costumer, music by a professional DJ, photo booth, and face painting/airbrush tattoos of your favorite superhero character all in one place! 

*Must be 18 or older to participate in zipline and sign waiver* 

Thursday, October 13 

Homecoming Movie on the Hill presents TBA and Costume Contest- Slayter Hill (rain: Fowler Hall); Costume contest begins @ 7:30pm and Movie begins @ 8:00pm 

Come enjoy a free movie on Slayter Hill! Popcorn, candy, and drinks available to purchase. We will also have a costume contest, so show up as your best dressed superhero. The contest begins @ 7:30pm. Bring a blanket, lawn chair, or two to share with your friends. 

Friday, October 14  

Boilermaker Night Train Parade - starts @ 7:30pm from Pierce/State Street to Mackey Arena 

Celebrate with friends at the Boilermaker Night Train Parade! The parade will feature walking units, vehicles and floats made by student organizations and local businesses. The route will begin at the corner of Pierce and State Street, west on State Street, north on Martin Jischke Drive, east on Third Street before turning north on University Street and ending at Mackey Arena. The parade will highlight this year’s theme “It's a Bird...It's a Train...It's Homecoming!” Come celebrate our university and community at the parade!

Saturday, October 15

Purdue Football vs. Iowa—TBA

Come watch as our Boilermaker football team takes on the Hawkeyes from the University of Iowa.

Come enjoy a free night out on Slayter hill watching a Super Hero movie! Showing is October 13, 2016 starting at 8:00pm. The rain location Fowler Hall. Drinks, popcorn, and candy available for purchase!
